Rick is Assistant Professor at Clemson University. Rick focuses on traditional and molecular breeding approaches with high-throughput phenotyping to accelerate crop breeding cycles.

Marylou is Assistant Professor at Georgia Southern University, GA. Mary is working on the molecular physiology of sorghum to better understand the mechanisms behind tolerance to drought.

Chad is a Research Geneticist at USDA-ARS in Lubbock, TX. Chad leads one of the largest publicly-funded applied sorghum breeding programs in the US, with special emphasis on abiotic stress tolerance and utilization of diverse and exotic sorghum.

Melinda Yerka is an Assistant Professor of Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics at the University of Nevada, Reno. Melinda is working on breeding sorghum having specialty endosperm traits, especially traits for human food, animal feed, biofuel, craft brewing, and craft distilling.
